Braybrook Primary Academy is a small community primary school situated on the south side of the city, which serves the community in and around Orton Goldhay. The school has seven classes, who are led by a friendly, supportive and dynamic team of adults.
The school building accommodates a welcoming reception area, a large school hall, 'The Hub' (which serves as a room for our Breakfast/After school clubs, a lunch time club, and a sensory circuits area) and the 'Rainbow Room', which is used by our pastoral lead and SENDCo. Our mobile classroom currently accommodates our library and a multi-use classroom. In addition to this, the school benefits from an extensive outdoor area, which is well-used throughout the year, including an allotment area and orchard, an outdoor classroom, a story circle, a playground and adventure activity play area, and large field which extends beyond the school grounds.
At Braybrook Primary Academy, we want children and adults to be happy; learning and growing in a safe environment which values the whole person. We believe that our experiences, irrespective of our culture, country of origin, faith or background, make our school family all the more exciting and enriching to be a part of. Our school is a place where diversity and difference are celebrated and embraced and where each individual is valued for all that they bring to our learning community.
Our vision statement encourages all stakeholders to:
'Reach for the stars',
As we aspire to
'Be the best that we can be'.
True to this, we plan collaboratively to provide creative and exciting experiences and learning opportunities, which engage and inspire all learners and immerse them within each and every themed topics. By the time that they leave us in Yr 6, we want all children to have developed the skills and attributes to be: independent and successful learners; happy, healthy and confident individuals and responsible and caring citizens.
