In year two, we create an engaging learning environment in which all children are valued and have the chance to contribute their opinions and thoughts. 

We offer family reading sessions on Thursday mornings. We love to see parents joining their children to share a love of reading. To add onto the joy of reading, each Wednesday in our class assembly the children have a surprise reader to share a book, written by our focus author.

We embed our REACH values by creating an environment in which we encourage perseverance, high aspirations and a positive attitude towards learning and behaviour.
