  • Spring

Spring term was jam-packed with exciting learning. We loved diving into the Anglo-Saxon and Viking periods in History and were amazed to find out that the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle was partially written in Peterborough! In Science, we were giving off good vibrations in our 'Sound' unit and enjoyed using the new iPads to measure the pitch and volume of different sounds around school.

We rounded off all this incredible learning with a zoo-tactic Reward Day. We enjoyed playing outside and boogying on the bouncy castle as well as meeting lots of exotic animals, courtesy of Safari Stu. How many of the different animals can you name?

    Passport to the World

We loved learning about The Philippines for our second Passport to the World day of the year! We had a special visitor who taught us all about the culture of the Philippines and what life is like there, before making some traditional dishes including Lumpia (spring rolls) and Biko (coconut rice cake)

    World Book Day

We had a great time during World Book Day week, taking part in a range of book related activities and completing writing around our whole-school text 'The Barnabus Project'. Our favourite activity was definitely snuggling up and making dens in which to share our favourite books with our friends!
